Cargo drums

LLC "Techprommetsnab" supplies all types of cargo crane drums according to current technical standards and according to individual drawings of the Customer.

Crane cargo drums are used for winding the traction rope of crane mechanisms.

The drum is made of a cast blank, or from a pipe. Flanges are welded to the pipe, to which the bottom with hubs with a shaft pressed into them is screwed. On one bottom, as a rule, a toothed crown is made to connect the drum with the gearbox.

The drums designed for laying the rope in one layer are cut to evenly lay the rope and to reduce the contact voltage between the rope and the drum. Depending on the desired direction of laying the rope on the drum, the cutting is performed left or right.
