The bypass crane block is a part of cranes and other lifting machines. The design of the bypass block is a wheel with a groove around the circumference, designed for a chain or rope. The bypass block can be movable and stationary. The axis of rotation of the fixed bypass block is fixed on the support. Such a bypass block serves to change the direction of movement of a chain or rope. The movable bypass block is used in hook suspensions to increase the strength and speed indicators. The dimensions of the stream profile of the steel rope block are selected from the condition of the maximum possible area of contact of the rope with the stream.
